Teach your agent the way through the wood.
Install the NEZI MCP server and your agent can use the toll house like any other tool. Whenever a 402 comes back, the server signs the USDG note with the alias key you gave it, so the tally carries the alias and never your own wallet.
01Tie the note to the owl
Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and any client that runs MCP servers over stdio:
{
"mcpServers": {
"nezi": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "nezi-mcp"],
"env": {
"NEZI_URL": "https://nezi.family",
"NEZI_BURNER_KEY": "0x… a burner key, never your main wallet",
"NEZI_MAX_PRICE": "0.05",
"NEZI_DAILY_CAP": "1"
}
}
}
}
Claude Code, one line:
claude mcp add nezi -e NEZI_BURNER_KEY=0x… -- npx -y nezi-mcp
02What it can do, and the tolls
Read live from GET /api/desk:

nezi_wallet runs locally and costs nothing: the alias address, its ETH and USDG, and how much it spent in the past 24 hours.
03Fill the alias purse
- Forge an alias in A Borrowed Name and reveal its key once, straight into the MCP config.
- In the Greenwood, put coins in from your own wallet, give the wood time to fill, then send a round sum out to the alias.
- A dollar of USDG pays for a couple of hundred questions. Keep a pinch of ETH there too, for the times the house asks the payer to settle.
Filling the alias straight from your own wallet undoes everything: the very first line on its page would name you.
04Rules of the road
NEZI_MAX_PRICE: the highest toll it will pay for one question, in USDG (default 0.05).NEZI_DAILY_CAP: the most it will spend in any 24 hours, in USDG (default 1).- It only ever knows the alias key. Your own wallet is never asked for, and each note it signs covers one toll.
05Plain HTTP
No MCP? The toll house is ordinary HTTP. The field guide has the exact format, or knock for real at the Toll House.
curl -s -X POST https://nezi.family/api/desk -H 'content-type: application/json' \
